Carolyn Bertozzi: lifelong explorer!

Carolyn Bertozzi, an internationally renowned chemical biologist, Lemelson-MIT Prize winner, and Nobel laureate, has pioneered inventions with a wide range of biopharmaceutical applications throughout her career. From an early age, Bertozzi was enthralled by science. Her father, who taught physics at MIT, encouraged her to explore technological tools from his projects and demonstrations which resulted in an enthusiasm for science that later fueled her drive to pursue invention.
